QSYCON LLC. has an opening for a IT Team Manager at our main office in Hoffman Estates, IL and resource might need to travel to client location as requested by client within U.S.A.  

Job Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Provide leadership support, coaching and mentorship for junior developers and QA engineers. 
• Provide oversight in design, build and unit test highly scalable applications. 
• Support team in defining & develop project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed designs of application solutions for clients. 
• Provide guidance in developing and maintaining Web-Application, API (Web-services/DB), legacy, and standalone desktop-based application automation. 
• Collaborate with team in building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing. 
• Assist in creation and management of testing project plans. 
• Collaborate with team in troubleshooting, debugging and triaging issue. 
• Assist in developing of technical documentation; participate in test-plan development, integration, and deployment.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Concentration in Computer Science/Engineering or related experience 
• 4-7 years’ experience in specific technology discipline. 
• Experience with various testing concepts (e.g., Functional, Usability, Availability, Performance). 
• Experience successfully applying Agile/Scrum methodology 
• Experience with automated functional test tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, BDD) 
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python). 
• Experience with Source control systems, Git, Bitbucket, or similar. 
• Outstanding communication skills. 
• Great attention to detail and a result driven approach. 
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. 
• Ability to manage, train and guide personnel.

Education:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems or related field

Work Location & Physical Requirements:

• This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.  
• The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
